Ordinance - 2013 - 690 - Amend Title 7/2009 Idaho State Plumbing Code Adopted - 01/08/2013 ORDINANCE NO. 690 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, AMENDING TITLE 7, CHAPTER 1F, SECTION 1, OF THE EAGLE CITY CODE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND, PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the City of Eagle is a municipal corporation organized and operating under the laws of the State of Idaho; and; WHEREAS, by Title 7, Chapter 1F, of the Eagle City Code, the City has adopted plumbing standards and provided for plumbing inspection for the protection of public health, safety and welfare; and WHEREAS, the City desires to amend Title 7, Chapter 1F, of the Eagle City Code NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, Ada County, Idaho; Section 1: Eagle City Code Title 7, Chapter 1F, Sections 1 and the same hereby are, amended with the underlined text being added and the strikeout text being deleted to read as follows: 7-1F-1: 2009 IDAHO STATE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE ADOPTED: Except where a different standard is required by this article, there is hereby adopted by the city for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing minimum standards and requirements for the use of and the design, construction, installation, improvement, extension and alteration of materials, piping, venting, fixtures, appliances and appurtenances in relation to plumbing systems as defined by the 2009 Idaho State uniforni plumbing code, and to provide that all plumbing and plumbing systems shall be designed, constructed, installed, improved, extended and altered in substantial accord with the 2009 Idaho State unifean plumbing code . . . • - . . - - . . •• . . . ., - •-- •. , and it shall be amended, revised, compiled and published from time to time and as such amendments or revisions are adopted by the Idaho plumbing board, and subject to the conditions, and exceptions prevalent in Idaho Code title 54, chapter 26. Section 2: If any provision or section of this Ordinance shall be held to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, then such provision or section shall be considered separately and apart from the remaining provisions or sections of this Ordinance, which shall remain in full force and effect. Section 3: This Ordinance, or a summary thereof in compliance with Section 50-901A, Idaho Code, shall be published once in the official newspaper of the City, and shall take effect immediately upon its passage, approval, and publication.
