Resolution - 2020 - 20-10 - Minimum Sale Price For Sale Of The Landing - 04/14/2020 RESOLUTION NO. 20-10 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO RELATING TO THE SALE OF REAL PROPERTY; DECLARING A MINIMUM SALES PRICE FOR THE SALE OF REAL PROPERTY; AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of Eagle, Idaho ("City") has previously acquired two separate parcels of real property jointly referred to as The Landing; WHEREAS there is a church building presently located on The Landing; WHEREAS, the City Council of the City has determined that it is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Eagle to offer The Landing for sale however excepting the church building from said sale. WHEREAS, State law requires the City Council of the City to either declare a value or minimum price, if any, it intends to receive as a result of the offer for sale or to declare that the subject property will be offered for sale without establishing a minimum price. NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Eagle, Idaho as follows: Section 1: The City Council finds and declares that the City shall propose to offer for sale the two parcels of real property jointly referred to as The Landing, which is legally described in Exhibit A and depicted in Exhibit B as R5748000060 and R5748000034 attached hereto and incorporated herein. Except the Church Building located on R5748000060 shall not be part of the sale and shall be removed by the City prior to transfer of ownership. Section 2: The City Council declares the minimum sales price for The Landing shall be $1,650,000.00. Any sale will also be subject to negotiation of other terms and conditions of a contract as permitted under State law. Section 3: The City Clerk is authorized and directed to publish a summary of the action taken by the City Council under this Resolution in the official newspaper of the City and to provide notice of a public hearing before the City Council concerning the sale of The Landing.
