EAGLE CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
August 5, 1997
COUNCIL: 6:30 p.m.
1. CALL TO ORDER:
2. ROLL CALL: Bastian, Masner, Sedlacek-Present. Merrill- Absent. A quorum is present.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
4. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Water Line Agreement with EM2,, City of Eagle, Lexington Hills~ and Treasure Valley
Village.
Mayor asks Legal Counsel to introduce the issue.
Legal Counsel introduces the issue and provides some history on the Agreement. General
discussion.
Masner moves that we authorize the Mayor to sign this Contract. Seconded by
Bastian. Discussion.
Bastian moves to amend the Water Line Agreement motion: Paragraph 7 Item #c to
read the Lexington, TW shall be reimbursed their costs up to $240,000, including
interest as set forth in the promissory note. Seconded by Masner. ALL AYE:

Bob Deshazo, President of Eagle Water Company, addresses the Mayor and Council in
reference to the Water Agreement.
Mayor explains that this is not a public hearing and Bob Deshazo has not be recognized.
Mayor calls for a recess at 6:55 p.m.
Mayor reconvenes the meeting at 7:00 p.m.
5. OLD BUSINESS:
A. 1997-1998 Budget Workshop- The Mayor has proposed a 1997-1998 Annual Budget for
Council consideration. The purpose of this workshop is to allow the Council to discuss the
Mayor's proposed budget and make changes as they deem necessary.
Mayor and Council discuss budget issues.
Legal Counsel discusses Franchise Agreements.
Mayor and Council continue to discuss the Budget.
B. Discussion regarding Election precincts: The City Clerk is requesting Council to discuss
the Election precinct situation in Eagle.
General discussion on precinct boundaries.
Masner moves that we accept suggestion gl. Seconded by Bastian. ALL AYE: MOTION

Bastian moves to adjourn. Seconded by Masher. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIES...
Hearing no further business, the Council meeting adjourned at 9:10 p.m.
