EAGLE CITY COUNCIL MEETING
MINUTES
JUNE 2, 1997
COUNCIL: 5:00 p.m.
1. CALL TO ORDER:
2. ROLL CALL:Bastian, Masner, Merrill. A quorum is present.
3. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Discussion of land acquisition.
Council is in agreement that an Executive Session is not necessary.
Mayor: The issue before is whether or not to purchase the land where the combination
Library/City Hall may be built.
Masher moves that we ratify the action that was taken on May 30, 1997, by the Council to
purchase a parcel of land located on Stierman Street and ratify this with the full council present.
Seconded by Merrill. Bastian, AYE, Masner, AYE, Merrill AYE: ALL AYE: MOTION
CARRIES .......
Masner moves that we canvas the recount of Proposition "B", Library Bond issue where the City
Clerk reports that there were 1,191votes cast in favor of Proposition "B" and 601 against and
there were 102 blank ballots, I move that we canvas that vote. Seconded by Merrill. ALL AYE:
MOTION CARRIES.
4. ADJOURNMENT:
Bastian moves to adjourn, Seconded by Masner. ALL AYE: MOTION
CARRIES .......
