EAGLE CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Workshop
May 7, 1996
The Eagle City Council met in special session on May 7, 1996.
BOWER presiding.
The following members were present:
MORGAIq MAITNER, NANCY MERRILL.

RICK YZAGUIRRE, STAN BASTIAN,
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
Ordinance 269 - Amending Title 8
This issue was continued to a workshop session in order to outline
issues at the preliminary plat and final plat stage. And, to
address single ownership and plating process.
The Council listed the requirements at preliminary and final stage
of a project for the attorney to incorporate into the ordinance.
Moved by BASTIAN and seconded by YZAGUIRRE to draft changes made
this evening and send it back to P&Z through the public hearing
process. ALL AYE: MOTION CARRIED. (The outline is attached)
NEW BUSINESS:
Moratorium, - Commercial Zones
Moved by BASTIAN and seconded by MERRILL to accept Resolution #4~96,
a Resolution of the City of Eagle, Ada County, Idaho, finding that
an imminent peril to the public welfare exists and implementing
immediately a moratorium on zoning, subdivision, design review sign
and building permits within the Design review Overlay District, with
changes made tonight. The terminating date for the moratorium will
be Sept 4, 1996. The City Attorney will draft a final resolution for
execution. AYE: BASTIAN, MANNER, MERRILL. NAY: YZAGUIRRE.
MOTION CARRIED.
Mayor BOWER outlined his ~plan$ for the truck issue on Second St.
during the construction 6f Albe~tsgn's. The City is receiving many
complaints about dus%Z~and truck t~ffic on Second St.
There being no furt~~ business t~he meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
