RESOLUTION NO. 10-23
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, A MUNICIPAL
CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO; ESTABLISHING A MINIMUM
INTERVAL FOR CONSIDERATION OF NON-CITY INITIATED
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENTS PURSUANT TO IDAHO CODE;
PROVIDING THIS RESOLUTION TO BE EFFECTIVE UPON ITS PASSAGE AND
APPROV AL.
WHEREAS, The City Council wishes to establish a set schedule and time line for the
consideration of non-city initiated comprehensive plan future land use map and text
amendments; and
WHEREAS, Idaho Code allows the city to establish a minimum interval as long as the
established interval does not exceed six months, as established in Idaho Code, Title 67,
Chapter 65, Section 9, effective July 1,2010; and
WHEREAS, Idaho Code requires the City Council to formally establish by Resolution
the timing and interval between request to amend the comprehensive plan; and
WHEREAS, The City Council recognizes that City initiated comprehensive plan
amendments take considerable time, significant community and agency involvement
(including but not limited to community visioning sessions, public meetings, and open
houses) and community notice prior to consideration at a public hearing.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EAGLE, IDAHO AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The attached Non-City Initiated Comprehensive Plan Amendment Schedule
for the City of Eagle is incorporated by reference herein and adopted by the Council as
the Comprehensive Plan Amendment Schedule for the City of Eagle in accordance with
Idaho Code ~67-6509.
Section 2: The official date of consideration of a new non-city initiated comprehensive
plan amendment request shall be administered by the Zoning Administrator in
accordance with the attached Comprehensive Plan Amendment Schedule.
Section 3: This schedule does not replace or remove any neighborhood meeting
requirements and or public notification requirements as established in Eagle City Code or
Idaho Code.
Section 4: This Resolution shall become effective as of the date of its passage.

Comprehensive Plan Amendment Schedule for the City of Eagle
Submittal Deadline for Applications
April 1"1 and October 1"1 of each year (or next: Business Day)
5:00 pm.
All applicants must schedule a pre-application meeting and a submittal meeting (regardless of
previous meetings with staff) prior to the submittal of an application. Meetings can be scheduled by
calling 939-0227.
Agencv Transmittal Meeting (No less than 21 days after submittal)
The City staff will host an agency transmittal meeting to distribute copies of the applications, review
materials, give a brief overview of the applications and answer any questions about the applications
or the process. The agencies will be given 15 business days to review the applications and request
additional information from the City. (These are not applicant presentations and applicants are not
required to attend.)
15- day Ae:encv Review / Reauest for Additional Information
Upon completion of the Agency transmittal meeting, each agency shall be granted 15 business days
to review the applications and request additional information. All agency requests for additional
information will be packaged and sent to the applicant after the close of the agency review period.
All requests for additional information will have a return. submittal deadline for the applicant. It is the
responsibility of the applicant to review the requests for additional information and provide comment
or questions back to the City on or before the submittal deadline. The City encourages working with
the commenting agency to expedite the review but the City must be made aware of all meetings and
correspondence.
