RESOLUTION NO.1 0-22
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE
STATE OF IDAHO, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING A GIFT OF CITY MONIES TO
THE EAGLE CITY LIBRARY FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING LIBRARY PERSONNEL;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Eagle is a municipal corporation organized and operated
under the laws of the State of Idaho; and
WHEREAS, and the Eagle City Council finds that it is in the best interest of the City
and its residents that a gift of City monies be given to the Eagle City Library so that library
hours of operation may be extended; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, as follows:
Section 1: The City of Eagle hereby donates a monetary gift to the Eagle City Library in
an amount not to exceed $10,332.00. The gift shall be paid bi-monthly until the end of the fiscal
year. The amount to be paid by the City shall be those funds necessary to fund Eagle City
Library staff for the additional eleven (11) hours per week as reflected on the City's bi-monthly
payroll reports.
Section 2: The gift of City monies is for the express purpose of funding personnel
employed by the Eagle City Library from July 1, 2010 until the end of the fiscal year so that the
hours of operation of that facility may be increased an additional eleven (11) hours per week,
thereby benefiting City residents and library patrons.
Section 3: The funding agreed upon by the City shall be considered a one-time gift and is
dependant upon the availability of existing funds.
Section 4: This Resolution shall be effective as of the date of its adoption and approval.
