Re: Certificate of Completion for Building Permit 02-07-012 at 1323 E Iron Eagle Dr
Dear Eric Evans Construction,
The Building Department has not issued a final Certificate of Completion for the Canopy at Primary Colors Day
Care located at Lot 4 Block 3 in the Merrill#1 Subdivision. The City of Eagle is requiring this issue to be resolved
by April 20,2009.
Outstanding Requirements: `Occupancy Request' form with all required signatures and Final Building
Inspection.
The building is in violation of the 2006 International Building Code Section 110-Cerificate of Occupancy
110.1 Use and Occupancy. No building or structure shall be used or occupied, and no change in the existing
occupancy classification of a building or structure or portion thereof shall be made until the building official has
issued a certificate of occupancy therefor as provided herein. Issuance of a certificate of occupancy shall not be
construed as an approval of a violation of the provisions of this code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction.
The building is in violation of the Eagle City Code 8-7-2: Zoning Permits and Certificate of Occupancy:
B. Certificate of Occupancy:
1. Certificate Of Occupancy Required: It shall be unlawful to use or occupy or permit the use or occupancy of any
building or premises, or both, or part thereof thereafter created, erected, changed, converted or wholly or partly
altered or enlarged in its use or structure until a certificate of occupancy shall have been issued therefor by the
Administrator stating that the proposed use of the building or land conforms to the requirements of this Title and
with all conditional provisions that may have been imposed.
