Box 1520 Eagle, Idaho 83616 939.6813 Council: Steve Guerber Michael Huffaker N arm Semanko Al Shaushtarian September 5, 2008 Leon Petz 3308 N Lake Harbor #B-304 Boise, ID 83703 Re: Expiration of Building Permit 06-11-026 at 1711 S Whitby Lane Dear Leon Petz, Building Permit issued for a Residential Addition located at Lot 7 Block I in the Lakeland Estates Subdivision will be deemed expired as of October 5. 2008 under the Building Code stated below. To receive a 'Certificate of Completion', you must finalize this project prior to the expiration date above: lac & IRC sections 105.5 are amended to read as follows: 105.5 Expiration. Every permit issued by the building official under the provisions of this chapter shall expire by limitation and become null and void if the building or work authorized by such permit is not commenced within 180 calendar days from the date of such permit, or if the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after the work is commenced for a period of 180 calendar days. The timeframe by which a project shall be deemed to be suspended or abandoned shall be measured from the date of the last major inspection that resulted in an approval to move to the next stage of construction by the city of Eagle or if no inspection has been required then a project shall be deemed to be suspended 180 calendar days from the date the permit was issued.
