Box 1520 Michael Huffaker Eagle, Idaho 83616 Norm Semanko 939-6813 Al Shoushtarian May 8, 2008 Enchanted Pool & Spa 1868 W Lowry St Meridian, ID 83642 Re: Expiration of Pool Building Permit 06-06-036 Dear Enchanted Pool & Spa, Building Permit issued for the Swimming Pool located at 1512 E Rivers End Court,Eagle, ID will be deemed expired as of June 8. 2008 under the Building Code stated below. The Pool only received the Rebar/Footing inspection from the City of Eagle and the Electrical permit issued from the Idaho Division of Safety, Electrical Bureau is `Active' (C603709). To finalize this project and receive a `Certificate of Completion',you must perform the following steps before the expiration date above: - Receive Final Electrical Inspection from the Idaho Division of Safety, Electrical Bureau - Apply for Plumbing Permit&get Final Plumbing Inspection—only if using dedicated potable water fixture - Obtain Final Building Inspection IBC & IRC sections 105.5 are amended to read as follows: 105.5 Expiration. Every permit issued by the building official under the provisions of this chapter shall expire by limitation and become null and void if the building or work authorized by such permit is not commenced within 180 calendar days from the date of such permit, or if the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after the work is commenced for a period of 180 calendar days. The timeframe by which a project shall be deemed to be suspended or abandoned shall be measured from the date of the last major inspection that resulted in an approval to move to the next stage of construction by the city of Eagle or if no inspection has been required then a project shall be deemed to be suspended 180 calendar days from the date the permit was issued.
