Re: Expiration of Pool Building Permit 05-05-053
Dear Northwest Pools,
Building Permit issued for the Swimming Pool located at 2261 W Holly Mountain, Eagle, ID will be deemed
expired as of May 16,2008 under the Building Code stated below. The Pool only received the Rebar/Footing
inspection from the City of Eagle and the Electrical permit issued from the Idaho Division of Building Safety,
Electrical Bureau has 'Expired'. To finalize this project and receive a 'Certificate of Completion', you must perform
the following steps before the expiration date above:
Apply for New Electrical Permit through the City of Eagle
Receive Final Electrical Inspection
Receive Final Mechanical Inspection - if pool is equipped with a heater
Apply for Plumbing Permit & get Final Plumbing Inspection - if using dedicated potable water fixture
Obtain Final Building Inspection
IBC & IRC sections 105.5 are amended to read as follows:
105.5 Expiration. Every permit issued by the building official under the provisions of this chapter shall expire by
limitation and become null and void if the building or work authorized by such permit is not commenced within 180
calendar days from the date of such permit, or if the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or
abandoned at any time after the work is commenced for a period of 180 calendar days.
The timeframe by which a project shall be deemed to be suspended or abandoned shall be measured from the date of
the last major inspection that resulted in an approval to move to the next stage of construction by the city of Eagle or if
no inspection has been required then a project shall be deemed to be suspended 180 calendar days from the date the
permit was issued.
The City of Eagle regrets this project was never finalized. If you have any questions regarding this action,
