Box 1520 Eagle, Idaho 83616 939.6813 Council: Steve Guerber Michael Huffaker Norm Semanko AI Shoushtarian April 16, 2008 Northwest Pools 2017 S Ash Park Lane Boise, ID 83709 Re: Expiration of Pool Building Permit 04-02-036 Dear Northwest Pools, Building Permit issued for the Swimming Pool located at 1059 W Ashboume, Eagle, ID will be deemed expired as of May 16,2008 under the Building Code stated below. The Pool only received the Rebar/Footing inspection from the City of Eagle and the Electrical permit issued from the Idaho Division of Building Safety, Electrical Bureau has 'Expired'. To finalize this project and receive a 'Certificate of Completion', you must perfonn the following steps before the expiration date above: Apply for New Electrical Permit through the City of Eagle Receive Final Electrical Inspection Receive Final Mechanical Inspection - if pool is equipped with a heater Apply for Plumbing Permit & get Final Plumbing Inspection - ifusing dedicated potable water fixture Obtain Final Building Inspection IBC & IRC sections 105.5 are amended to read as follows: 105.5 Expiration. Every permit issued by the building official under the provisions of this chapter shall expire by limitation and become null and void if the building or work authorized by such permit is not commenced within 180 calendar days from the date of such permit, or if the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after the work is commenced for a period of 180 calendar days. The timeframe by which a project shall be deemed to be suspended or abandoned shall be measured from the date of the last major inspection that resulted in an approval to move to the next stage of construction by the city of Eagle or if no inspection has been required then a project shall be deemed to be suspended 180 calendar days from the date the permit was issued.
