PROPOSAL:
. Eagle City Code Section 8-2A-2(B)

for residents and visitors alike. The architectural designs, materials, and graphics set forth in
this article are complied to create a theme unique to the area called "Eagle Architecture".

Signage for any project shall provide for business identification and minimize clutter and
confusion on and off the site.
. Eagle City Code Section 8-2A-6(A)(4)(c)

effectiveness are to be used in establishing guidelines for sign approval.
C. DISCUSSION:
. The applicant is proposing two (2) building wall signs for the Oasis Medical Center in the
Castlebury West Business Park. The west elevation sign is proposed to be seventy eight square
feet and constructed of two inch (2") aluminum pan channel letters mounted to a four inch (4")
reverse channel cross mounted two inches (2") off of the wall. The words "Medical Center" are
proposed to be reverse channel with push thru letters. The south elevation wall sign is proposed to
be fifty seven square feet and otherwise identical to the proposed sign on the west elevation. The
signs are proposed to be lit externally by gooseneck lighting fixtures.
. On September 6,2007, the applicant provided staff with a revised sign plan that showed the red in
the signage to be muted and more of an earth tone. The revised sign plan, date stamped by the
City on September 6, 2007, is included within the design review packet.
. Staff defers further comment regarding design and color of the proposed signs to the Design
