A Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Eagle amending the Eagle
City /Library Personnel Policy by adopting changes to Employee Evaluation and
Discipline C.4.(a) Appeal Hearing, and providing for an effective date.
WHEREAS, The Eagle City /Library Personnel Policy was adopted on September 25,
2001, and Amended on June 20, 2006;
WHEREAS, The City of Eagle desires to amend the Eagle City /Library Personnel Policy
to add changes to Employee Evaluation and Discipline, C.4.(a);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Mayor and City Council of the City of
Eagle as follows:
Section 1: The following changes shall be added to the Eagle City /Library Personnel
Policy:
EMPLOYEE EVALUATION AND DISCIPLINE
C. EMPLOYEE DISCIPLINE PROCEDURES AND PRINCIPLES
4. Appeal Hearing.
a. The full -time employee shall be heard before the City Clerk, or the Library Directo and the
Mayor, along with either the City Council or the Library Director and the Library Board,
depending if said employee works in the Library or the other City departments, with the oral
hearing to last no longer than two Q hours, unless otherwise approved by the City Clerk; or Library
Director, —, lWayor or Library Beard. If more time is needed during the appeal hearing, that body
hearing the appeal can decide, in their sole discretion, how long they will extend said hearing.
Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption
and approval by the Eagle City Council.
