Joint Meeting Minutes
January 29, 2007
1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor calls the meeting to order at 6: 10 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL:
City Council: BASTIAN, GUERBER, NORDSTROM, BANDY. Bastian is absent. A quorum is
present.
P&Z Commission: PIERCE, ASPITARTE, ZASTROW, JACOBS, MCCARREL. Zastrow is absent.
A quorum is present.
Design Review: MCCULLOUGH, GRUBB, BARNES, WRIGHT, MACDONALD, WEBER,
WHITTAKER. McDonnell and Barnes are present.
4. DISCUSSION ITEMS:
A. Foothills discussion.
Planner Baird Spencer: Provides an overview on the progress of the foothills development. General
discussion.
B. Urban Renewal Update.
Mayor provides an overview on the progress of Urban Renewal. General discussion.
C. Downtown Committee Update
Teri Bath, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Jason Pierce give an update on the work being
done by the Downtown Committee.
General discussion.
D. Transportation. General discussion.
Mayor: I need Council to amend the Agenda to approve payment of a claim against the City.
Nordstrom: So moved. Seconded by Guerber. ALL AYES: MOTION CARRIES...........
Bandy moves to approve the release of the Surety for R Square Construction, Inc. in the
amount of $2,284.92. Seconded by Guerber. Discussion. Bandy amends the motion to add
approval of the payment for the claim against the City for R Square Construction in the
amount of $2,284.92. Seconded concurs. Bandy: AYE; Guerber: AYE; Nordstrom: AYE: ALL
AYES: MOTION CARRIES...............
4. ADJOURNMENT: Mayor adjourns the meeting.
Hearing no further business, the joint meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
