BY THE Mayor's Youth Advisory Council of Eagle.
A RESOLUTION requesting that the Idaho Statesman reinstate the "Youth Page"
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the young people and families of the Treasure
Valley to have a news source created by youth about positive youth events in the
Treasure Valley; and
WHEREAS, the Statesman is a major source of print media in the Treasure Valley and is
therefore the only affordable way for youth and youth organizations to communicate to
people throughout the Treasure Valley; and
WHEREAS, citizens of the Valley, especially young people need to be aware of positive
role models provided by the majority of youth in the area who are working hard to
improve their communities;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MA YOR'S YOUTH ADVISORY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO:
The Youth Council of the City of Eagle has approved a request to the owners and
management of the Idaho Statesman to re-establish their commitment to the youth of the
Treasure Valley by re-instating the "Youth Page."
