confusion on and off the site.
.
Eagle City Code Section 8-2A-6(A)(4)(c)

properties, neighborhoods, or streets.
.
Eagle City Code Section 8-2A-8(C)(l)
Sign materials and overall appearance shall compliment the building architecture and colors as
determined by the Design Review Board.
.
Eagle City Code Section 8-2A-8(E)
The design review board must find that any illuminated sign permitted under the specific

ensure architectural compatibility. Therefore, in addition to the enumerated standards,
consideration shall be given to a sign's relationship to the overall appearance of the subject
property as well as the surrounding community. Compatible design, simplicity and sign
effectiveness are to be used in establishing guidelines for sign approval.
C. DISCUSSION:
. The applicant is requesting to remove all the internally illuminated building wall signs located on
the west building elevation of the Eagle Albertsons facility. The existing signs consist of
"Albertsons", "Food", "Pharmacy", and "US Bank". The "Albertsons", "Food", and "US Bank"
signs will be replaced with halo illuminated building wall signs. The "Pharmacy" sign will be
removed and replaced with a halo illuminated "Sav-On Pharmacy" sign. All signs will be using
white neon so that all the signs will have a white halo around each of the letters. The proposed
signage does not exceed the two hundred-ninety nine (299) square feet allowed on this building
elevation.
