AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, AMENDING
TITLE 1, CHAPTER 7, SECTION 1-7-1A, EAGLE CITY CODE ESTABLISHING AN
OFFICIAL DEPOSITORY FOR CITY FUNDS, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY
ESTABLISHED BY SECTION 50-1013, IDAHO CODE.
WHEREAS Section 50-1013, Idaho Code, authorizes the City Treasurer to
deposit funds in such place or places of deposit as shall be provided by ordinance.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EAGLE, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That Title 1, Chapter 7, Section 1-7-1A, Eagle City Code, be
amended and the same is hereby enacted to read as follows:
1-7-1A: DEPOSITORY FOR CITY FUNDS:
A. The First Security Bank. Eaale Branch,
is hereby designated as the depository for the City. The City Treasurer is hereby
ordered, required and directed to keep moneys belonging to or in the care of the
City coming into his/her hands and into the hands of the said City, in the above-
named depository.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be enforced after its
passage, approval, and publication as required by law. In lieu of publication of the
entire ordinance, a summary thereof, in compliance with Section 50-901A, Idaho Code,
may be published.
