Ordinance - 1996 - 278 - Amend Title 1 - 09/24/1996ORDINANCE 278 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 1, CHAPTER 11, OF THE EAGLE CITY CODE DESIGNATING THE WEST ADA EXPRESS AS THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER OF THE CITY OF EAGLE. WHEREAS, the West Ada Express has filed with the City of Eagle a sworn statement attached hereto as Exhibit "A" stating that the West Ada Express Newspaper meets the criterium set forth in Idaho Code Sections 50-212 and 60-106 to qualify as the official newspaper of the City of Eagle. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO, as follows: Section 1. Title 1, Chapter 11 of the Eagle City Code is hereby amended to read as follows: Pursuant to the provisions of section 50-213, Idaho Code, the Valley -News West Ada Express is hereby designated the official newspaper of the City and such ordinances, notices and publications as are required by law to be given publication in the newspaper shall be published in said VaIIey-News West Ada Express.
