RESOLUTION No. 05-13
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, ADA
COUNTY, IDAHO, TO ADOPT A SUPPLY TRUNK LINE (STL) FEE AND A
HOOK-UP FEE, EACH PER EQUIVALENT DWELLING UNIT (EDU) TO BE
APPLIED IN THE CITY OF EAGLE SERVICE AREA; ESTABLISHING A SUPPLY
TRUNK LINE (STL) FEE CREDIT PROVISION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Eagle, Idaho ("City") is a municipal corporation
operating under the laws of the State of Idaho and is authorized to fix rates and charges
and take such other actions incidental to the management and operation of a municipal
water system pursuant to Title 50, Chapter 10, Idaho Code; and
WHEREAS, the City of Eagle is required to comply with the notice and hearing
requirements ofldaho Code 63-1311A when establishing new fees.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EAGLE, Ada County, Idaho, as follows:
1. July 26, 2005, Eagle City Hall, Eagle, Idaho, is hereby fixed as the time
and place when and where a public hearing for the purpose of receiving public comments
on the proposal to establish a $1,500 Supply Trunk Line Fee (STL) and a $850 Hook-up
Fee, each as applied per Equivalent Residential Customer (ERC) in the City of Eagle's
Water Service Area, and to provide for a scaled payment schedule for the STL Fee, and
an option for a credit toward the STL Fee for certain eligible expenditures approved by
the City.
2. Notice of the hearing substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit
"A" and hereby made a part hereof shall be given by publication of such notice in the
Valley Times of Eagle, Idaho and The Idaho Statesman, of Boise, Idaho, a newspaper of
general circulation within the City, which notice shall be published once a week for two
consecutive weeks preceding the date of said hearing.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage and
approval.

ON INCREASE OF FEES AND IMPOSITION OF NEW FEES
CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO
Ada County, IDAHO
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that , the day of
2005, at the hour of _:- o'clock _,m" at Eagle, Idaho, has been fixed as the time and
place for public hearing for the purpose of hearing public comments regarding the
proposed imposition of new fees, as hereinafter described, and as the time and place
when and where the City Council will consider the imposition of new fees, and hear all
comments, protests, and objections thereto which may be made in writing and filed with
the Clerk on or before said time.
At the hearing, the City Council will consider the proposal to establish a $1,500
Supply Trunk Line Fee (STL) and a $850 Hook-up Fee, each as applied per Equivalent
Residential Customer (ERC) in the City of Eagle's Water Service Area, and to provide
