RESOLUTION NO 05-08
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAGLE, ADA COUNTY,
IDAHO, APPROVING AND ADOPTING AN AMENDED WATER MASTER PLAN FOR
THE CITY OF EAGLE, IDAHO; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Eagle, Idaho ('the "City"), heretofore
adopted a 2002 Water Master Plan for the City of Eagle's municipal water system; and
WHEREAS, the demand on the City's municipal water system has increased due to
population growth within the City and the City's expanding planning area; and
WHEREAS, the City adopted an Amended Comprehensive Plan by Resolution
No. 04-15, adopted on September 14,2004, pursuant to Chapter 65, Title 67, Idaho Code.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has conducted an analysis of the City's municipal water
system and prepared conclusions and recommendations regarding current and future needs of the
City's municipal water system in accordance the City's Amended Comprehensive Plan adopted
on September 14,2004, and prepared an Amended Water Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has presented the Amended Water Master Plan, dated
February 25, 2005, to the City Council and recommended that the City adopt the same; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to adopt the Amended Water Master Plan, dated
February 25,2005, pursuant to the recommendation of the City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EAGLE, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO, as follows:
Section 1: The Amended Water Master Plan, dated February 25, 2005, a copy of which
is annexed hereto and the original of which is on file at the office of the City Clerk, is hereby
approved and adopted.
Section 2: This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and
approval.
