ORIGINAL
1. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor calls the meeting to order at 6:55 p.m. and welcomes
the general public in attendance.
2. ROLL CALL: BASTIAN, SEDLACEK, GUERBER, NORDSTROM. All present. A
quorum is present.
3. OPEN DISCUSSION REGARDING DEVELOPMENT POTENTIAL WITHIN
ADA COUNTY WHICH WOULD DIRECTLY AFFECT THE EAGLE
FOOTHILLS.
Mayor introduces the issue and discusses the City limits of Eagle and the boundaries of
the City impact area and defines the area of impact.
The area that is being discussed tonight is not in the City limits or the City area of impact.
The City of Eagle has no jurisdiction over this area being discussed tonight, the foothills.
This is an informal, fact finding meeting tonight.
Mayor provides a list of things the Council would like to be discussed tonight.
Council Members address the public and discusses the foothills area and state that the
City of Eagle has no plans to expand into this area but any development in the foothills
will have an impact on the City. Discussion on the negotiations with the City of Star.
General discussion between the Mayor, City Council, and the public.
7:45 p.m. Council Member Guerber leaves the meeting.
Continued discussion.
8:30 p.m. Council Member Guerber joins the meeting.
Continued discussion.
4. ADJOURNMENT:
Bastian moves to adjourn. Seconded by Guerber. ALL AYE: MOTION
CARRIES...
Hearing no further business, the Council meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
