RESOLUTION NO. 05-01
A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE FY 2008 TRANSPORTATION ENHANCEMENT
PROGRAM APPLICATION SUBMITTAL FOR THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF
THE EAGLE ROAD UNDERPASS P A THW A Y ENHANCEMENT PROJECT BY THE CITY
OF EAGLE TO COMPASS AND THE IDAHO TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT.
TOTAL PROJECT COST ESTIMATE IS $ 647.000 WHICH WILL REQUIRE
$ 147.000 OF LOCAL MATCHING FUNDS AND IN-KIND CONTRIBUTIONS FROM
THE CITY OF EAGLE.
WHERE AS, it is the intent of the City of Eagle City Council to design and construct a
pedestrian underpass under Eagle Road and pathway enhancements to link existing pathways on
the east and west side of Eagle Road.
WHERE AS, the City of Eagle intends to submit the required application to obtain Federal-Aid
funds in order to make the improvements, as described above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Eagle City Council, that the Mayor is
hereby authorized and directed to sign the Application and all associated documents and submit
the application to COMPASS.
