Minutes - 2004 - City Council - 05/26/2004 - Special EAGLE CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES MA Y 26, 2004 ORIGINAl 1. CALL TO ORDER: 2. ROLL CALL: BASTIAN, SEDLACEK, GUERBER, NORDSTROM. Nordstrom absent. A quorum is present. 3. NEW BUSINESS: A. Canvas votes from the May 25. 2004 Special Bond Election. Mayor introduces the issue. City Clerk Bergmann: There were 1,701 votes cast, 1,030 yes votes, and 671 no votes. A 2/3rd,S majority was needed - 1,134. The Bond was defeated. General discussion. Bastian moves to approve the canvas of votes from the May 25, 2004, Special Bond Election as presented to us. Seconded by Sedlacek. ALL A YES: MOTION CA~ES..................... B. Resolution No. 04-07: A resolution of the City Council of the City of Eagle canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the Special Bond Election. City Clerk: Resolution No. 04-07 is not needed because the Bond Election was defeated. Bastian moves to amend the agenda for discussion on a future City Hall. Seconded by Guerber. ALL AYES: MOTION CARRIES.............. General discussion on how to proceed with a new facility. 4. MUOURNMENT: Bastian moves to adjourn. Seconded by Guerber. ALL A YE: MOTION CARRIES.. .
