1. CALL TO ORDER:
2. ROLL CALL: BASTIAN, SEDLACEK, GUERBER, NORDSTROM.
Nordstrom absent. A quorum is present.
3. NEW BUSINESS:
A. Canvas votes from the May 25. 2004 Special Bond Election.
Mayor introduces the issue.
City Clerk Bergmann: There were 1,701 votes cast, 1,030 yes votes, and 671 no
votes. A 2/3rd,S majority was needed - 1,134. The Bond was defeated.
General discussion.
Bastian moves to approve the canvas of votes from the May 25, 2004, Special
Bond Election as presented to us. Seconded by Sedlacek. ALL A YES:
MOTION CA~ES.....................
B. Resolution No. 04-07: A resolution of the City Council of the City of Eagle
canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the Special Bond Election.
City Clerk: Resolution No. 04-07 is not needed because the Bond Election was
defeated.
Bastian moves to amend the agenda for discussion on a future City Hall.
Seconded by Guerber. ALL AYES: MOTION CARRIES..............
General discussion on how to proceed with a new facility.
4. MUOURNMENT:
Bastian moves to adjourn. Seconded by Guerber. ALL A YE: MOTION
CARRIES.. .
Hearing no further business, the Council meeting adjourned at 6.20 p.m.

INSTRUCTIONS TO VOTERS: To vote on the following proposition, please
make an (X) or other mark in the space to the right of the words "IN FAVOR
OF issuing bonds to the amount of $2,000,000 for the purposes stated in
Ordinance No. 470" or "AGAINST issuing bonds to the amount of $2,000,000
for the purposes stated in Ordinance No. 470" according to the way you desire
to vote on the question. If you, by mistake or accident, mark, deface, mutilate,
or otherwise spoil this ballot, please return it to an election official and obtain
another ballot.
SHALL THE CITY OF EAGLE BE AUTHORIZED TO
INCUR AN INDEBTEDNESS AND ISSUE AND SELL
ITS GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS IN THE PRINCI-
PAL AMOUNT OF $2,000,000 TO PAY THE COST OF
CONSTRUCTING A NEW CITY HALL BUILDING AND
RELATED COSTS, THE BONDS TO MATURE OVER
A TERM WHICH MAY BE LESS THAN BUT WHICH
SHALL NOT EXCEED TWELVE (12) YEARS AND TO
BE PAYABLE FROM THE ANNUAL LEVIES OF
TAXES, ALL AS MORE FULLY PROVIDED IN ORDI-
NANCE NO. 470, ADOPTED ON MARCH 23, 2004?

The following information is required by Section 34-440, Idaho Code:
The City has existing indebtedness in the amount of $2,390,694.
The interest rate anticipated on the proposed bonds is 3.71% per
annum. The range of anticipated rates is from two percent (2.0%) to
six percent (6.0%) per annum. The total amount to be repaid over
the life of the proposed bonds, principal and interest, based on the
anticipated interest.
