Findings - PZ - 1989 - Joplin Ranch annexation and zone to R-5/140 acres - Annexation And Rezone CITY OF EAGLE , ~ ' In the Matter of: JOPLIN RANCH ANNEXATION FINDINGS OF FACTS & CONCLUSIONS OF LAW On August 21, 1989, pursuant to public notice and hearing procedures set forth in Section 67-6509 of the Idaho Code, this matter came before the Eagle P~anning and Zoning, City of Eagle, Idaho, a hearing upon the request of Robert Donovan, Representative of Kevin Joplin dba Joplin Ranch, owner of the property, for annexation and R-5 zoning. The property is located on the East side of North Eagle Rd., south of the City Limits and consists of 140 acres of land. Based on testimony from the applicant and interested parties together with all documentary evidence submitted concerning the application, the Eagle Planning and Zoning finds the following: FINDINGS OF FACT AND CONCLUSIONS OF LAW: 1. The records in this matter indicate all notices, and publications have occurred as required by law. The records further reflect notice of the proposed annexation and zoning was sent to the appropriate public and private entities with no responses objecting to the proposal being received from those entities. 2. On August 21,1989 public hearing proceedings were conducted with Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission. No contrary or opposing testimony was given. 3. Based upon said testimony Planning and Zoning concludes that the application for annexation and zoning meets the requirements of Idaho State Code. 4. Eagle Planning and Zoning further concludes that the proposed annexation and zoning meets the requirements of Title 8, Chapter 8, Section 2, ANNEXATION LIMITED TO AREA OF IMPACT, and Tile 1, Chapter 10, Section 2, BOUNDARIES OF CITY-ANNEXATION of the Eagle City Code.
